Agua Prieta have lost significant amount of employees due to the global recession. The city of Agua Prieta is very anxious to land new investments to generate employment for the community. Therefore, as an incentive, the following are offered:

  • Construction Permits- No fee
  • Administrative and Legal assistance for start up operation
  • New corporations are exempt from paying the 2% of payroll taxes on newly created jobs for 1 to 2 years
  • Cost Free Training program for new employees; the state government pays for employees training. State Government pays first 8 Weeks of the trainees salary as the Corporation designs the training program and hires the instructors
  • Public transport subsidiary
  • Coordination with federal, State and Local Authorities to obtain permits and legal paper work
  • Employee recruitment assistance
