DONA ANA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Dona Ana Community College

The Central campus of Doņa Ana Branch Community College is located on 11 acres adjacent to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Community college education is also offered at the White Sands Education Center, the White Sands Missile Range, Gadsden Education Center in Anthony, New Mexico, and in Sunland Park, New Mexico. Additionally, community college classes are offered at Oņate High School and at Hatch Valley High School. Doņa Ana Branch Community College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Dona Ana Branch Community College provides the following programs:

Customized Training Program - a customized contract training for employee development in a variety of business - related topics. Contract training can be customized to meet the specific needs of the employer.

Small Business Development Center - provides assistance for entrepreneurs, including opportunities to start a new business or make an established one more efficient and profitable.

State of New Mexico Border Authority Grant- provides employed workers job training skills and conducts a need assessment of skills of both employed and unemployed workers in southern Doņa Ana County.

Training the Workforce in Southern Doņa Ana County- The One Stop Career Center in the Santa Teresa Industrial Park assesses clients' training needs and offers job readiness and job skills training in material handling, first-line supervision, and tool-and-die machining. Additional One Stop Centers are planned throughout the county.

Occupational Programs - provide specific training in 25 different occupational areas, from Computer Technology and Electronics Technology to Facilities Maintenance and Manufacturing Technology.
